Ivano Marescotti evoca la vicenda in cui Annibale Bentivoglio, amato ed eletto dai bolognesi a capo dei Sedici Riformatori, venne brutalmente ucciso nel 1445, vittima di un complotto ordito ai suoi danni dalle famiglie Canetoli e Ghisilieri. Il popolo non tardò a reagire mettendo a ferro e fuoco la città per settimane. L'evento passerà alla storia come il "guasto dei Ghisilieri". Ivano Marescotti tells the story of Annibale Bentivoglio, who was loved and elected by the Bolognese people to guide the Sixteen Reformers, and was brutally killed in 1445, due to a plot planned by the two families Canetoli and Ghisilieri. The people quickly reacted to the tragic event, by protesting, sacking and pillaging the town for several weeks. This historical fact would be remembered as “the fault of the Ghisilieri”. |
